ETSI publishes stable drafts for long-term preservation of digital signatures

The Technical Committee for “Electronic Signatures and Infrastructures” (ESI) of the European Telecommunication Standardisation Institute (ETSI) has published stable drafts related to “Preservation Services”.

The following specifications aim at maintaining the trustworthiness of digital signatures over long period of times:

TS 119 511 (v0.0.5): Policy and security requirements for trust service providers providing long-term preservation of digital signatures or general data using digital signature techniques

TS 119 512 (v0.0.6): Protocols for trust service providers providing long-term data preservation services

Comments for these drafts should be sent back to ETSI by January 13th 2019 using the appropriate template.

Selected aspects of the forthcoming standards will be presented by ETSI ESI experts at the forthcoming go.eIDAS / Open Identity Summit (March 27th-29th 2019 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany).
